Prabhas' Adi Purush is the most awaited film across the country. The film which is based on the Hindu epic Ramayan is releasing on January 12,2023 as a Sankranti special and the day coincides with the opening of the extravagant new Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The makers released the teaser during Dasara but it got trolled mercilessly by movie lovers who felt that the VFX was not up to mark and the director Om Raut turned the entire film into a cartoon.

In the midst of all this, Sharad Khelkar, a Bollywood actor who is dubbing for Prabhas in the Hindi version and speaking to scribes came up with the following response. He said " “It is going to be wonderful because whatever little I have seen of it, it is massive. I am yet to start dubbing, but a few scenes I have seen, and I can tell you it is going to be amazing. Nobody has tried such a thing before."

Sharad Khelkar continued " Om Raut is a fantastic director; his vision is something else. For example, whatever perception people had of Chhatrapati Shivangi Maharaj, he broke it with Tanhaji and people accepted it. I was apprehensive back then, but he was convinced, and so sure of it. Trust him, that’s the only thing I can tell people who are criticizing him currently. Trust him, he is a fantastic person. He will do a wonderful job. He has immense knowledge of cinema, and his vision is something we need today. I am sure, with Adipurush too, he will be very good.”The film stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan in the roles of Raghav, Janaki and Lankesh.
