Natasimha Balakrishna's high octane action entertainer Akhanda directed by Boyapati Srinu created a sensation at the box office. The film overcame many obstacles like the coronavirus pandemic's dreaded second wave, the AP government's vicious plans to torment Tollywood and in the process instilled confidence in Tollywood that with strong content one can overcome all the obstacles, natural or manmade.
The film turned out to be the highest grosser in Balakrishna's career and it was screened for 50 days in 103 centers which is a record in the testing times. The film also got a thumping response in OTT streaming on Disney+Hotstar. Balakrishna's performance as Aghora drove masses crazy. According to the latest, the makers are planning to celebrate the film's 100days function in style.
The 100 Days function will be celebrated in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh on March 12, 2022, in a lavish manner and it is named Akhanda Kruthagnatha Sabha. The film starred Pragya Jaiswal, Jagapathi Babu, Srikanth in important roles and is produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy on Dwaraka Creations banner.
