83 teaser recreates Team India's golden moments

Bollywood star Ranveer Singh is getting ready to entertain movie lovers with his sports-based entertainer 83. The film is inspired by the golden moments in India's cricketing history when Team India won its first world up in the year 1983 as underdogs defeating the mythy West Indies under the captaincy of Kapil Dev.

The makers today released the film's teaser and it at once went viral on social media. Ranveer Singh who played the lead role, Kapil Dev in the film, recreated the magic of Kapil Dev's stunning catch dismissing the dangerous West Indies batsman Viv Richards. The film is slated for a grand release on December 24, 2021. Sharing the details and the teaser, Ranveer Singh posted "The greatest Story. The film directed by Kabir Khan is produced by  Kabir Khan, Vishnuvardhan Induri, Deepika Padukone, and Sajid Nadiadwala in a prestigious manner.
