GG On A Rampage, Side Please

Geetha Govindam is the new outing at theaters that is creating box office tsunami. The sensations are not restricted to Telugu states. The film is unstoppable in overseas and neighborhood states. This rampage of Geetha Govindam is bringing shivers to makers of other films screened in theaters.

Nithin’s Srinivasa Kalyanam, Adivi Sesh’s Goodachari, Sushanth’s Chi La Sow and Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam 2 were released last week. While Chi La Sow slowed down from first Monday itself, Srinivasa Kalyanam got negative response. Goodachari was lauded as one of the best spy thrillers and the film too raked big numbers at box office in its first week. Vishwaroopam 2 registered less numbers on day one itself.

Dil Raju thought the Satish Vegeshna directed film will become a sleeper hit like few of his previous films. However, the film will lose many theaters to Geetha Govindam. In fact, situation is similar for other films as well.

Geetha Govindam was released in less number of theaters in Nizam and few other areas. Now, with the humongous response and huge demand from public, other films are getting replaced. The Parasuram directed film is expected to run with packed houses at least by the weekend. And the film’s domination will continue till next month, until other biggies will hit the screens.
