Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ woes are still haunting Pawan Kalyan and his close friend Sharat Marar. Yes, Sampath Kumar said to be ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ distributor for Krishna region arranged a press meet today to express despondency requesting Pawan Kalyan to help him in recovering the huge losses made by last film.

Sampath Kumar bought SGS Krishna rights at a huge price of Rs.4.5 Crores while the film collected a share of only Rs. 2.5 Crores incurring an overall Rs. 2 Crores loss. He approached producer Sharat Marar and Pawan’s manager Srinivas last year where he was promised to compensate the loss by offering ‘Katama Rayudu’ rights at rebated price. A happy Sampath left to Vijayawada hoping that ‘Katama Rayudu’ is very much in his hands.

But when the news of Sharat Marar having sold ‘Katama Rayudu’ to another distributor at a record price, Sampath rushed to Hyderabad for meeting Pawan which went in vain. Later, he met the heads at Film Chamber and one Muthyala Ramdas spoke to Srinivas and tried to resolve the issue for which again there was no response from Pawan or his team.

‘There is a big mafia formed around Pawan Kalyan and is getting benefited using Power Star’s name, fame. I purchased SGS rights at a very high price only because I am a Pawan Kalyan Fan and trust his morals. Who is EROS in between? I signed the distribution agreement not in EROS office, all the formalities were completed in Pawan Kalyan office,’ Sampath said.

‘I am not against Pawan Kalyan. Despite my repeated attempts to meet Pawan Kalyan, the mafia around him is not allowing me and in turn threatening me with dire consequences. My sincere request for all the media friends is to please forward my issue to Pawan Kalyan because he is unaware of all these. He is a humble human being, good politician and working with noble ideals,’ Sampath said.
