There was a period when star heroes like Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu and Jr NTR evaded media even during their new movie releases. Times have changed now because Pawan was seen aggressively promoting ‘Aththarintiki Daaredi, Gopala Gopala’ and ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh.’ Before Pawan, for the first time NTR met media and tried to be over-friendly when ‘Nannaku Prematho’ stood in last Sankranti race.
This time, Mahesh Babu is also seen aggressively promoting his last release ‘Brahmotsavam.’ More than hero, in fact Mahesh is also known to be a production partner in this project. Of course, a part of his remuneration would be debited into final account sheet shown as his share of production investment. Our heroes by-hearted the business formula very well, whatever may be the investment… returns have to be on profitable scale.
Along with his own investment kept on big risk, Mahesh Babu also wanted to save his producer Prasad V Potluri because they knew ‘Brahmotsavam’ as a risky product. Anyways, all the struggles of Mahesh went in vain because the film is forecasted to be a loss making venture for producers and buyers too.
