Everyone has to agree a fact that Telugu audience haven’t reached to a level of wisdom as Tamil audience to invite new talents with innovation, strong nativity and experimentally treated stories, scripts. Except ‘Oopiri’ success in recent times, all the failures from star heroes endorse the same reason on how distant our heroes and directors are from Tamil actors and directors.

To speak on a rare case of Suriya’s ‘24’ released of late in parallel both Telugu and Tamil languages failed commercially in all three states. To our surprise, revenues from Telugu version were quite encouraging than Tamil original for this flick. Hero and producer Suriya should be a happy man to see such tremendous market growth for him in Telugu states.

On the same note, analysts are seeing ‘24’ as a flick purely with Tamil connection and no way can be called a Telugu one. Vikram Kumar of ‘Manam’ fame was one of the major pulling factors for ‘24’ to enjoy a commercial applause. Only when our Telugu star heroes accept such scripts, we can call it as a Telugu trend. Till then, talents like Vikram K Kumar will be drained to other lands in search of opportunities and recognition.
