Success of ‘Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham’ and flop run of ‘Rey’ have balanced the career of Sai DharamTej, the new face from Mega compound. Along Mega brand would not help anyone without dedication and sincerity towards work they do to entice audience. Sai has learnt these lessons from Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan. So, he is showing utmost honesty on every project he is working with.
There was a simple formula followed by heroes like Mahesh Babu and Ramcharan when media questioned them on, how about possibility on remakes of their fathers’ olden, golden hits. ‘They are evergreen classics. We do not want to touch or spoil them. Let them remain as masterpieces,’ a common opinion shared by them on many occasions.
However, Sai Dharam Tej who remixed ‘Guvva Gorinka’ song of Chiranjeevi for 'Subramanyam for Sale' interprets the same in a different perspective. ‘I too agree that this generation makes no match to the talent of yester generation. Of course, I too do not want to touch Chiranjeevi Mayayya films in the form of remakes. At best, what we can do is pick the super hit numbers from his movies and try to remix them without damaging name and fame. ‘Guvva Gorinka’ remix is the idea shared by Harish Shankar and Dil Raju. We took extreme care in shooting and composing the remix,’ Sai seems to be right in his own way. Anyways, remixes can connect with audience only when they stand above the quality of original, which is impossible in almost all the cases.
