Ajith Stopped Me From Films: Shamilee

Baby Shamilee and Baby Shalinee are so popular in entire South. Now, they are grown ups and obeying their duties. While Shalinee is leading a responsible home maker marrying Ajith, no need to say about Shamilee, she started with ‘Oy’ and disappeared in no time. Currently, she is making a comeback into Kollywood with couple of projects signed opposite Vikram Prabhu and Dhanush.

‘For last three years, I was in Singapore leading an independent life. I maintained myself and quite often visited Chennai to see my family. I thought of directing a film and did Masters Degree in Film Studies getting acquainted with cinematography, editing, production etc. May be in the future, I might direct a film.  

In fact, Ajith does not want to me to work in films. He is more like my brother and so protective and caring. When I decided to comeback, he supported me by arranging a photo shoot. I am playing interesting characters in both the films signed so far,’ Shamilee said in a recent interview.
