Kattappa Shows 100 Days Loyalty!

Versatile actor Sathya Raj’s presence in Kattappa character complemented the overall commercial ‘Bahubali’ status. Rajamouli’s selection of Sathya Raj for a powerful role is appreciated both in Telugu and Tamil. Although the talented veteran from Tamil Nadu is a known face in Telugu, never did he enjoy these many applauses as what we see today for Kattappa. Of course, Sathya Raj has also reacted about honesty with which Rajamouli shaped the role and how his dream for a folk based character became a reality.

Now that ‘Bahubali 2’ is into pre production stage with shooting schedules to be commenced from September, we heard that Rajamouli’s team is on anvil to block the diary dates of major star cast. The critical acclaim for loyal warrior Kattappa made Sathya Raj to allocate over 100 days call sheets. As per the request from Jakkanna, many other actors are also keeping aside over 100 days to attend the shoot.

For this to happen, Sathya Raj is known to have rejected a crucial role in Vijay’s untitled 59th film. So, Kattappa will be with ‘Bahubali’ team till this year end or early next year as the movie is set for summer 2016 release.
