Telugu and Tamil people equally love Kamal Hasan. Apparently, the actor committed more for Tamil films in recent times whereas Telugu audience are served with only dubbing ones. If we remember, it's almost six years Kamal spoke direct Telugu after the social message and enlightening flick of 'Eenadu' remade based on Terrorism backdrop of 'A Wednesday.' Now, the Universal Star is soon to begin his next bi-lingual in Telugu and Tamil.
'We have a happy news to share with all of you. Raj Kamal International Films next project will be a double version in Tamil and Telugu. We are going to inaugurate the shooting of dual version in Hyderabad on May 24,' Kamal said about the project of 'Thoongavanam' to be directed by his associate Ramesh. Camera by Sanu Verghese of 'Vishwaroopam' fame and editing by Vijay Shankar, Ghibran is the musical director. Of course, the major casting of the film is yet to be finalized.
'Thoongavanam' literally means, a forest that never sleeps. Telugu version is yet to get a title. Kamal is spending 40 days each for Telugu and Tamil versions to be shot seperately. The film is said to be a fast paced thriller which unveils in one night. Despite a commercial failure of 'Uttama Villain,' there is no way Kamal is stepping out from his comfortable zone of experimentation.
