No Paisa for 'Paisa'

As expected by the analysts prior to release, Nani and Krishna Vamsi combo ‘Paisa’ is reported to have opened to very weak crowds all over the state. No surprises, even the reviews were one sided and crowds did not show any interest in watching the film although the name of KV is attached. As per the trade calculations, ‘Paisa’ collected a mere of Rs.1.7 Crores on day one which is par low compared to the present form of Nani after the super success of ‘Eega.’

When compared to the BO performance of ‘PPT,’ this number of Nani’s film is better. Only and only if Ramesh Puppala begins promotional events, there is a chance of recovering some portion of budget invested else ‘Paisa’ will end as a dismal film for the entire cast and crew. With ‘Aaha Kalyanam’ and ‘Jenda Pai Kapiraju’ set for release in coming days, let us see where ‘Paisa’ will stop now.
