Heroine Ready to Die Like Her Dad!

The character of Ammulu portrayed by Shruti Hasan in ‘Ramayya Vastavayya’ hasn’t got so much response from the audience because this role ends her life in mid of second half. Of course, Ammulu is the life line for movie to run the entire story and revenge drama yet Fans of Shruti are not totally satisfied with it. When Shruti is asked the same on why is she compromising on this sort of second fiddle roles, the response was clear.

‘I have seen a lot of films of my dad where in his character will be dead. I am ready to take up such similar ones and ready to die. More over, it is the trust in director Harish Shankar which made me to accept the project of ‘Ramayya Vastavayya’ where Jr NTR also looked quite refreshing from his earlier movies. I am comfortable dying on screen because it is the way characters have to behave.’
