Lakshmi Rai as Kodi's 'Rani Ranamma'

Veteran Kodi Ramakrishna is to catch the megafone after a gap of 4 years to direct Action Hero Arjun and sex bomb Lakshmi Rai in a bi-lingual film titled as 'Rani Ranamma.' Yes, it is the same line from super hit song of 'Maa Pallelo Gopaludu' with Arjun and Purnima as leads was directed by Kodi in 1985. In recent past, Kodi made a blockbuster 'Arundathi' with Anushka as heoine which was a pathbreaking project by Telugu industry standards.

For information sake, 'Rani Ranamma' is also a heavily VFX loaded flick with high budget ensured by producer R. Ramachandra Raju of Sailaja Productions. Story revolves around a couple and their kid while more details are awaited before movie will be launched in next two to three days. This is infact, biggest and prestigious venture for Lakshmi Rai till date in her career.
