Insiders in film industry are these days referring Mallu babe Priyamani as the heroine of B-category both remuneration and demand wise. Thanks to Nayanathara's upright rejection of an item song in 'Chennai Express,' now Priyamani is to dance besides Shah Rukh Khan in the same film pocketing Rs.30 Lakhs of remeuenration for just 4 minutes of screen time. Not an exaggeration, this is more than her regular pay cheque for a full fledged lead role in South films.
'I never think on monetary terms because I always crave for exciting projects,' Priyamani said to a newspaper without revealing the actual figure charged for the spicy number. Meanwhile, the dusky babe has also denied the rumors of rejecting 'Karanam Malleeswari' biopic because of lesser remuneration offered by director Shiv Dubey. Whatever may be the reason, it is good to see Priyamani receiving enough attention in B-town even after the flop first trial of 'Raktha Charitra.'
