Finally, 'Vishwaroopam' Downed

Film industry has no scope for innovativeness. Kamal Hasan was left with no other choice than to postpone the release of 'Vishwaroopam' to an indefinite date owing to the pressures of Theatre Owners across the South and some multiplex chains in North. It is still unknwon whether the DTH premier scheduled today night will go on as per the schedule or there will be any lags. The new date of theatrical release, Kamal is looking forward can be January 24 or 25.

Airtel, Sun Direct, Dish TV and Videocon are also heard to have stopped the bookings for DTH release because of the confusion and lack of clarity from Raj-Kamal films. However, Kamal says that he will not disappoint the DTH partners and will come out with one more official statement very soon. Unfortunately, the confusion still prevails on 'Vishwaroopam' with just few hours left for DTH screening. That is how industry reacts to new ideas.
