Vidya Balan’s dare-bare and bold-glamorous stunts in ‘Dirty Picture’ have been received very well by audience. This film has aroused the sexual desires and fantasies of men with a realistic storyline. Reacting to this overt sexual exploitation of Vidya Balan in the film, hero Tusshar Kapoor said, ‘we are not that kind of people who make cheap films. Our audience too won’t step into a film thinking that it is going to be a ride centered only on body display. I feel that, a film gets its own credibility when you have a strong star cast like Vidya Balan, Naseeruddin Shah together. I never thought that I was doing something like a BASIC INSTINCT. Our film is not just about skin show, it has something more than that.’ 

In fact what Tusshar said was absolutely right because, collections of ‘Dirty Picture’ stood firm with no drop even after the end of first weekend. After all, Bollywood always made profits when banked upon pure commercial formula entertainment.
