Shah Rukh Khan King Song Tu Mil Jaaye Creates History

Shah Rukh Khan has scored another major milestone with his upcoming film King. The film’s first song, Tu Mil Jaaye, has crossed 60 million views across platforms within 24 hours of its release, becoming the most watched Indian film song in a single day. The romantic track was released on November 2, coinciding with the superstar’s 61st birthday.
The song has also created a new record on YouTube by collecting 36.3 million views in its first 24 hours. It has beaten the previous record held by Shah Rukh’s own Zinda Banda from Jawan, which registered 34.6 million views. Other popular tracks like Gujju Pataka, Jai Shri Ram and Sikandar Naache are other songs with highest opening day numbers.
However, Tu Mil Jaaye has not taken the overall record for all music releases. In Non-movie songs, Badshah’s Paagal still leads with 75 million views in 24 hours, followed by Guru Randhawa’s Nain Bengali with 71.4 million. The new King song features Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, marking another reunion of the popular on screen pair after films like Chennai Express, Happy New Year, Pathaan and Jawan.
Arijit Singh and Madhubanti Bagchi have lent their voices to the romantic number, composed by Sachin - Jigar with lyrics by Kumaar. International singer Ed Sheeran is also part of its artist lineup. Directed by Siddharth Anand, King features Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi and Raghav Juyal. The film is scheduled to release on December 24, 2026, shortly after Avengers: Doomsday and Dune: Part Three.
