Nikhil Long Awaited Swayambhu Gearing Up For Release
Nikhil Siddhartha’s Swayambhu is entering the final stage of production after an extensive 175 day shooting schedule. Directed by Bharat Krishnamachari, the period action drama is being mounted as a grand pan-India project, with the makers aiming to deliver a visually rich historical world across multiple languages.
The film reportedly features around 2,500 VFX shots, highlighting the scale of its visual effects and post production work. The lengthy schedule has allowed the team to extensively develop its action sequences, period settings and large scale environments. A recently released behind the scenes image showcases Nikhil in an intense warrior avatar.
Swayambhu is produced by Bhuvan and Sreekar under Pixel Studios, with Tagore Madhu presenting the film. Samyuktha and Nabha Natesh play important roles, while KK Senthil Kumar handles cinematography and Ravi Basrur composes the music. Production designers M. Prabhaharan and Ravinder are creating the film’s elaborate historical world.
The teaser and the first single Ra Ra Dheevara have already generated considerable curiosity around Swayambhu, particularly Nikhil’s larger than life warrior character. With shooting nearing completion, the makers are expected to announce the release date soon. The team has indicated that the final output is being completed without compromising its intended scale.
