Hanuman Ansh Racing Towards 250 Crore At The Boxoffice

Hanuman Ansh has emerged as one of the biggest surprise blockbusters of the year, reportedly collecting more than ₹236 crore gross worldwide. Made on a budget of under ₹2 crore, the spiritual drama has delivered extraordinary returns after initially opening with limited screens and modest expectations.

Based on the life and spiritual journey of Neem Karoli Baba, the film released on August 7 with only 25 screens. Its first two weeks remained subdued, but strong word of mouth transformed its fortunes from the third week. Screen count expanded rapidly, eventually helping the film cross ₹100 crore in India.

The film’s remarkable run has brought 21 year old producer Anupriya Nagar into the spotlight. Having reportedly invested her savings after working part time in the UK, Anupriya has expressed an intention to use her earnings for charitable initiatives and supporting underprivileged children, adding another dimension to the film’s success story.

Meanwhile, reports claiming Hanuman Ansh secured a ₹100 crore OTT deal have been dismissed by Anupriya as rumours. She clarified that no such offer exists, stressing that the theatrical response remains the priority. With the worldwide gross already above ₹236 crore, speculation about a ₹300 crore finish continues, but the final total remains to be seen. The Telugu dubbed version is scheduled to release on 18 September in theatres.
