Mohanlal Latest Operation Ganga Assembles Top Technical Team

Mohanlal’s much awaited pan India film Operation Ganga has officially gone on floors in Georgia, creating excitement across Indian cinema. Earlier known as L367, the Vishnu Mohan directorial is inspired by India’s evacuation mission during the Russia - Ukraine war. The makers are mounting the project on an ambitious scale with multiple filming locations.

Operation Ganga is being produced by Gokulam Gopalan under Sree Gokulam Movies, with Baiju Gopalan and V. C. Praveen as co-producers. Mohanlal leads a diverse cast featuring Arjun Rampal, Adil Hussain, Bhagyashri Borse and Parthiban. The planned 180 day schedule will cover Georgia, Poland, Kazakhstan, Delhi, Dehradun and Kochi, adding scale.

The film’s technical lineup raises expectations. Shashwat Sachdev, acclaimed for Dhurandhar, is composing the music, while Pushpa cinematographer Miroslaw Kuba Brozek handles visuals. Action director Sea Young Oh, production designer Rajeevan, editor Shameer Mohammed, sound designer Bishwadeep Chatterjee and VFX supervisor K. V. Sanjit are also part of the production.

Directed and written by Vishnu Mohan, Operation Ganga marks a significant leap after his National Award winning debut Meppadiyan. The filmmaker has researched the evacuation events, including accounts involving students and officials, to build authenticity. With a military adviser and an international crew, the film aims to deliver an emotional rescue drama.
