Fahad Faasil not only entertains but also mocks the character of Atharvaa and also the film's screenplay to leave all amused.But except for the two characters the film offers nothing new or exciting and turns out to be a tedious watch. He highlighted how the opinions of people and middle class family changes in the backdrop of money heist.Interest levels increase with the starting scene of the bank robbery which takes viewers into the story. However later the introduction of characters slowed the pace of the narration. But the twists and turns involving the lead character and others and the negative shades increases the curiosity levels. The police investigation and others in the first half brings and end setting the tone for the exciting second half.However, the second half goes for a toss with the hero kidnap scene and various sub plots. While the first half is natural, the second half had shades of artificiality and illogical scenes. Couple of scenes in the second half turns it into a decent one.Ramess' Editing could have been far better as there are many scenes that slowed the pace of the film especially in the second half. However, the missing emotions and the weak characterizations marred the intensity and impact power. The pre climax and climax turns out to be ok with the so-called twists. If mythological and elements on God in a story comes naturally then it will connect chords with the people. However, all the so called Sanatana elements are forced and this ends up testing the patience of the viewers.Nagabandham also fell in the second category unfortunately. There is no clarity how the hero became the protector of the all powerful Brahma Kamalam right from the first half. The film lacked the drive and direction and it drifted in various directions and the screenplay turned out to be topsy turvy. Emotions play a key role in the films and the film lacked them completely. Only when emotions are strong and realistic, natural, it will help in taking forward the drama or action sequences.With emotions missing , the scenes come and go one after another and viewers are left wondering what was happening. The extreme violence in the marriage looked totally unnecessary and unwanted except for the gory scenes which the director felt would have made an impact on the viewers emotionally.Though the first half had no story, visuals are extravagant and the interval bang covered all the loopholes setting the stage for the second half. However the second half turned out to be extremely slow and all the characters turned unnecessarily loud shouting at the top of their voices. Director included family scenes revolving around children but none of them created an impact. The flashback episode lacked clarity and it is also filled with mindless violence.The climax action episode itself came to more than 30 minutes and the story revolved around it but none of them connected chords with the viewers. Everything goes with loud shouts and intense and senseless action. On top of it, they gave immense torture with irrelevant dialogues on Sanatana Dharma.The background score tuned by Junaid Kumar elevated the scenes to the next level creating the maximum impact. However, at times it turned loud and routine. The cinematography of Soundar Rajan S is top class. The VFX and CGI are of top class most of the time, except in few scenes where they looked pale and substandard.Junaid Kumar - Abhe's songs acted as speed breaks to the narration. Except for the Namo song, others failed to impress and some songs came with in 2-3 minutes gap. Editing left a lot to be desired, especially in the second half. Director Martin Joseph came up with a thriller that looked like a slow poison and unlike other investigative thrillers where a twist comes during the interval bang, the twist appears only during the climax. Till then the director passes time with unnecessary scenes and the slow pace in the screenplay and narration tested the patience of the viewers. Only the cinematography saved the film from sinking further. Except for the final 30 minutes, everything goes for the toss in Dridam. The entire first half is loaded with hero killing time with his friends and the romantic track after he gets attracted to a beautiful girl. Everything looks routine except for the interval twist. No one can guess the interval twist and the director should be complimented for it.While the first half had predictable scenes of hero and his gang and also his romantic track and the fights with the rival gang, the second half scenes are full of family emotions and sentiment. The pre climax and climax elevates the film to new heights. overall Sreekanth Sangisetty managed to engage gen z viewers with couple of twists.The dialogues are good and the Telangana accent appeal to youth. The scenes featuring friends, father-mother sentiment etc are somewhat dragged. Sreekanth Sangisetty's story, screenplay and direction turned out to be decent.Vamsi Patchipulusu's cinematography added value to the narration and the storyline. Eswar chand's couple of songs are youthful and are shot well and background score is good. However he used Sita Ramam background score for the interval bang and it worked out well. Chidambaram starts the narration in an interesting manner at a steady pace, taking viewers into the story introducing various characters. He surprises viewers with the twists and turns that they cannot expect, as many of the scenes look natural and realistic. The interval block, climax and few more scenes and the twists involved in it turns out to be the highlight and writers should be commended for their innovation.However, though the movie runs at a steady pace, the extremely slow narration ends up testing the patience of the viewers. Many of the simple scenes are repeated and dragged unnecessarily. Dialogues are natural and realistic. Sushin Shyam's music is impactful and he elevated the scenes with his background music. The cinematography of Shyju Khalid showed the scenes in a natural and realistic manner. Right from the start till the finish the narration, screenplay turns out to be uni dimensional. His thought process remained outdated and out of sync with the current generation. He still followed the same hero elevations, three songs, six fights, item song and cheap comedy scenes.With in five minutes into the story, viewers will be treated the same monotonous scenes that test their patience to the core. It increases with the passage of time and reaches its peak in the second half. The interval comes as a break from this torture. The story lacks basic emotions and everything looks artificial.Everyone passes through the motions and the director's cheap taste is revealed when he showed the rape scene in detail even though it was shown initially. There are many such scenes and that include the CM candidate directing her aides to molest her to gain sympathy. Finally viewers heave a sigh of relief when the film comes to an end.Vijay Mukthavarapu's didn't get much scope to showcase his talent. This is because the story offered nothing new and as the scenes assume monotonous flavour, had Vijay applied his editing scissors, there wouldn't have been any film.The cinematography of Karthik Sujatha Saikumar is ok and the background score by Kalyan Nayak followed the predictable template. The romantic song tuned looked that of the 80s flavour. The confusion generated entertains with hilarious acts in the first three episodes.The fourth episode takes it to new level with the entertainment and hilarious content. The unraveling of the twists attracts all but from the fifth episode the entertainment takes back seat with thought provoking scenes and few message-oriented dialogues. The final episode ends on an emotional note. At times the fun scenes did not generate the desired result as there are many repetitive scenes that slowed the pace of the film. Compared to the first two seasons, there is more entertainment content in this and so viewers can enjoy. However, some dialogues crossed the line and this makes viewers uneasy.Sriram Madduri's music is decent and the background music added value to the narration. Vishweswar's cinematography is good with rich visuals. The editing of Shravan Katikaneni is ok but could have been more better.
