Nagabandham Trimmed By 20 Minutes

Mythological fantasy Nagabandham released Friday with a 3 hour 5 minute runtime. Directed by Abhishek Nama and starring Virat Karrna and Nabha Natesh, it drew attention for grand VFX and lavish production design. Early reviews praised visuals but flagged pacing issues in the second half.

After feedback on the lengthy screenplay and dragged action, the makers trimmed 20 minutes. The new version runs 2 hours 45 minutes from day 2. Reports say marriage track scenes and the climax fight were shortened to improve pace and keep audiences engaged in theatres.

Saturday collections stayed low with no major jump. Trade analysts note non-theatrical deals are closed, but word of mouth remains mixed. Viewers online said the first half had good moments, while slow stretches hurt overall impact despite strong production values.

History shows runtime cuts rarely revive films post-release. For Nagabandham to recover, Sunday numbers must rise strongly. With top actors in key roles and big VFX support, the film now relies on a revised cut and positive buzz to sustain its theatrical run.
