Drishyam 3 has crossed 10 million dollars overseas in its first week. The Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph film is now the first South Indian movie of 2026 to reach this mark. The film opened strong with 2.64 million dollars on day one. It held well through the weekend with 2.13 million on day two and 2.01 million on day three. Weekday numbers stayed steady, helping the film finish the week at 10.17 million dollars, which is about 97.55 crore rupees.

Middle East led the run with 5.68 million dollars and made up more than half of the total. North America added 1.76 million dollars while UK and Ireland gave 1.30 million dollars. Australia, New Zealand, and Germany also gave solid numbers.

Strong word of mouth and a large Malayalam fan base helped screens stay full. The film saw good advance booking in many cities and saw high ticket rates for evening shows. Drishyam 3 is now the second fastest Malayalam film to hit 10 million dollars overseas and the fourth overall from Mollywood to do it.

In India the film earned around 87 crore gross so far. The worldwide total stands near 185 crore gross after one week. Trade reports say the family audience and repeat viewers are driving the film. With the holiday season coming, the film may add more from key markets and could challenge older records set by top Malayalam releases.
