Srikanth Odela, the talented filmmaker behind the blockbuster film Dasara, is expanding his horizons into film production by launching his own banner, Sammakka Sarakka Creations. Anurag Reddy and Sharath Chandra of Chai Bisket Films are partnering with Odela on this venture. The production house's first film, Al Amina Zariya Ruksana's Gulabi, is a hard-hitting love story based on true incidents set in 2009 in the coal town of Godavarikhani. Odela not only produces the film but also provides the story, which is written and directed by debutant Chetan Bandi.
