Pushpa 2 Makers Denied Early OTT Release

Allu Arjun's "Pushpa 2: The Rule" has been making waves at the box office, collecting approximately ₹1400 crore worldwide. However, the film's success has been marred by piracy, with its HD version leaking online just two weeks after release.

The leaked version is available in multiple languages, causing concern for the film's producers and Netflix, which acquired the film for a record price. Clips from the leaked print are circulating online.

Mythri Movie Makers previously clarified that "Pushpa 2: The Rule" would remain a theatrical exclusive for 56 days, denying rumors of an January 9 OTT release. The film's team must now address piracy concerns.

Directed by Sukumar, "Pushpa 2: The Rule" follows Pushpa Raj's intense rivalry with officer Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat (Fahadh Faasil). The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli, Pushpa's wife. Its record-breaking success has been overshadowed by piracy issues.
