All About Pushpa 2 - The Rule Premier Show

The entire nation and infact the entire world is gripped with the Pushpa Raj fever. Icon Star Allu Arjun who captured the imagination of all as Pushpa Raj in Pushpa The Rise is back to blow the minds of all with his mind games in Pushpa The Rule which is releasing on 5 December 2024. 

The wait is over for Pushpa The Rule rule at the box office as it is the sequel to the blockbuster film Pushpa The Rise. When Allu Arjun and Sukumar teamed for Pushpa The Rise, never did they imagine that the film would turn out to be such a rage. Pushpa The Rise though announced in 2019 got impacted due to the covid pandemic and the makers rushed the film's release in various languages without any proper promotions. 

The film got mixed reviews but the makers got a pleasant shock when the film's Hindi version created a sensation by raking in more than Rs 200crs without any promotions. What surprised all is Allu Arjun's mannerisms, dialogue delivery, dances and stunts as Pushpa Raj drove masses crazy. The songs tuned by Devi Sri Prasad, Daakko Daakko Meka, Srivalli, Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava, Saami Saami, and Eyy Bidda Idhi Naa Adda to be the chartbusters. The dialogue of Allu Arjun ' Pushpa Ante Flower Anukuntiva.. Fire' drove all crazy. 

Almost all the celebrities cutting across professions from across the world did reels much to the delight of the makers. Following this, director Sukumar who already shot 30% of the sequel decided to turn it more extravagant. The sequel's budget increased and now it became the most expensive film in India with the budget of Rs 500crs. With Sukumar known to be the perfectionist, he kept on shooting and reshooting the scenes for betterment and did not take any chances which may lead to scope for mistakes. Finally the film's release date is finalised for 5 December 2024.

This time, the makers extravagantly promoted the film with the cast and crew attending the promos at Patna, Kochi, Chennai, Mumbai and Hyderabad. Unlike south stars who rope in Bollywood honcho like Karan Johar for the marketing of the film and promoting the film attending various popular TV shows, Allu Arjun took the onus upon himself and promoted the film across the country singlehandedly. The success of pre release event in Patna, Bihar left all stunned. 

The film's pre-release business came to Rs 1085 crs , a record of sorts. The film's advance bookings already reached Rs 100crs and now with the trade analysts predicting that the film will get record openings on the first day, movie lovers are waiting for Pushpa The Rule explosion at the box office. 

Already the film's teaser and trailer got tremendous response from all quarters and the songs  Pushpa Pushpa,Sooseki (The Couple Song),Kissik,Peelings started trending on social media. 

Masses across the country are waiting eagerly to watch the film and find out how Pushpa The Rule takes off as the Pushpa The Rise ended with Pushpa Raj (Allu Arjun) insulting SP Bhanwar Singh Shekawat (Fahadh Faasil) just before his marriage with Srivalli (Rashmika Mandanna). 

They are searing for answers and are curious to find out where the ego clash between Pushpa Raj (Allu Arjun) and SP Bhanwar Singh Shekawat (Fahadh Faasil) head to and how Srivalli (Rashmika) reacts. To the top of it how Pushpa Raj enemies Mangalam Srinu (Sunil),his wife Dakshayani (Anasuya Bharadwaj),MP Bhumi Reddy Siddappa Naidu (Rao Ramesh),Konda Reddy (Ajay Ghosh), Jaali Reddy (Dhananjaya), Jakka Reddy(Shanmukh),his half brothers Molleti Mohan Raj (Ajay), Molleti Dharma Raj(Sri Tej),Chennai Murugan (Mime Gopi), SI Kupparaj (Brahmaji) tries to take advantage of it and the reaction of Pushpa Raj's mother Parvathamma (Kalpalatha), trusted aid Mondelu (Jagadeesh Prathap Bhandari) over these developments. 

First Half

Over all first half is intense and serious with mind-blowing face off scenes involving Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil. Couple of romantic scenes between Rashmika and Allu Arjun and few comedy scenes makes up the first half. BGM and cinematography is good and two songs are foot-tapping. At times, the seriousness in narration gives a feeling that pace dipped but editing is quite sleek. 

Now all eyes are on how the second half unfolds.
