Manchu Vishnu Vardhan Babu, popularly known as Vishnu Manchu, is the elder son of legendary actor Mohan Babu. Born today, Vishnu had a brief stint as a child artist with the 1985 film Ragile Gundelu. Years later, he made his debut as a hero in the 2003 Telugu action film 'Vishnu'.
After his debut, Vishnu tried his luck in acting with 'Suryam', 'Asthram', and 'Game'. However, it was the 2007 film 'Dhee' directed by Srinu Vaitla that became a major breakthrough in his career. The film went on to become the highest grosser in his career. Vishnu then turned producer and made superhit films like 'Denikaina Ready', 'Doosukelta', and 'Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam'.
Apart from films, Vishnu has also founded world-class schools. He is the founder and chairman of New York Academy, a school in Hyderabad, and the chairman of Spring Board Academy and Spring Board International Preschools. Vishnu Manchu is also the pro-chancellor for the prestigious Mohan Babu University in Tirupati.
Vishnu married Viranica Reddy in 2009 and has four children. He was recently elected as the president of the Movie Artists Association. Currently, Vishnu is busy making the devotional film 'Kannappa' with a major star cast at a pan-India level.
