Sai Durgha Tej donates after visiting a Temple. Actor Sai Tej, formerly known as Sai Dharam Tej, demonstrated his commitment to social causes with a meaningful visit to Vijayawada on Wednesday. The actor started his day with a visit to the renowned Kanaka Durga Temple, where he performed a puja and interacted with temple authorities. Dressed in a casual white tee-shirt and jeans, Sai Tej shared his plans to donate to an old-age home, fulfilling a promise made after recent flooding devastated the region.

Later, Sai visited the Amma Prema Adarana old-age home, interacting with the elderly residents and spending time with them. He then generously donated ₹2 lakh to the foundation and contributed an additional ₹3 lakh to other organizations, personally handing over the cheques. This act of generosity builds upon Sai's previous commitment to the home, as he had promised to build a new structure in 2019, fulfilling the promise in 2021. He has also adopted the home for three years, ensuring their well-being and covering their expenses.

Sai Tej's philanthropic efforts were inspired by the devastating floods that ravaged Andhra Pradesh and Telangana earlier this year. Following the tragedy, he pledged to donate ₹10 lakh each to the Chief Minister's relief funds of both states, further demonstrating his compassion and support during a time of crisis. He also donated ₹5 lakh to the Amma Foundation and other organizations. His uncle, Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh Pawan Kalyan, actor Chiranjeevi, cousins Ram Charan and Allu Arjun, and other family members also contributed to the relief efforts.

Sai Tej's dedication to social causes highlights his commitment to giving back to society. The actor, who recently returned to acting after a near-fatal motorcycle accident in 2021, is steadily making a comeback, with appearances in the 2023 films "Virupaksha" and "Bro". He is currently working on an untitled project, further showcasing his dedication to his craft and his commitment to entertain audiences.
