Tovino Thomas Explains Why a Telugu Multi-Starrer is Currently Unfeasible

Malayalam superstar Tovino Thomas, known for his successful films like "Thallumala," "Minnal Murali," and "2018," is set to captivate audiences with his upcoming film "ARM," releasing worldwide on September 12th in multiple languages.

At the Telugu version's pre-release event in Hyderabad, Tovino addressed the possibility of starring in a Telugu multi-starrer, revealing a compelling reason for his hesitation. He explained that committing to a multi-starrer would significantly impact his Malayalam commitments, potentially jeopardizing his flourishing career i his home industry.

"In Telugu, multi-starrers are difficult to pull off due to everyone's busy schedules," Tovino stated. "I can't participate in a Telugu multi-starrer because it would mean sacrificing 4-5 Malayalam films, which would effectively end my Malayalam career with that one movie."

He highlighted the rapid pace of Malayalam filmmaking, often completed in one or two schedules, emphasizing his existing commitments.

"ARM," directed by Jithin Lal and produced by Listin Stephen and Zachariah Thomas, features an ensemble cast including Basil Joseph, Krithi Shetty, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Surabhi Lakshmi.
