Ibrahim Ali Khan "Diler" London Shoot Scrapped Amidst UK Unrest

Ibrahim Ali Khan, gearing up for his Bollywood debut in Dinesh Vijan's "Diler," has had to adjust his shooting plans due to the escalating unrest in the UK. The film was initially slated to shoot a significant portion of its production in London.

However, recent events, including a stabbing incident in Southport that sparked widespread protests, have prompted the producers to prioritize the safety of the cast and crew.

"In late July, the team did location scouting and look tests in London. Director Kunal Deshmukh had planned a major shooting schedule there," a source revealed to Mid-Day. "But after the situation worsened, the makers felt that hiring extensive security would be too costly. So, they decided to scrap the London leg and focus on domestic locations."

The team is now reportedly searching for alternative locations in Mumbai itself. The Mumbai leg is expected to commence in the first week of September.

This development highlights the challenges faced by the film industry in navigating global events and prioritizing the well-being of their teams.

While fans eagerly await Ibrahim Ali Khan's debut, the "Diler" team's decision reflects their commitment to safety and their willingness to adapt their plans to ensure a smooth and secure production.
