Telugu superstar Ram Charan, currently in Melbourne for the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM), made a powerful statement of national pride by hoisting the Indian tricolour at the iconic Federation Square. The actor, recently bestowed with the prestigious title of Ambassador of Indian Arts and Culture by the Victorian government at the IFFM awards, embraced the opportunity to represent his heritage. Surrounded by hundreds of diaspora Indians, he proudly unfurled the flag, igniting a wave of patriotism and enthusiasm.

"It's a proud moment for all of us Indians to be here, hoisting our flag in Australia," expressed Ram Charan. "I have fond memories of Melbourne and Sydney from shooting a film here 12 years ago. It's truly heartwarming to see so many Indians here today, showcasing the global reach of our culture and cinema."

He went on to add, "The future is bright, and it lies in the hands of the young people here. It's inspiring to see them embracing our heritage and celebrating our achievements on such a grand stage."

Celebrating its 15th year, the IFFM is the largest celebration of Indian cinema outside of India, running from August 15th to 25th.

On the work front, Ram Charan is set to star in the highly anticipated "Game Changer," directed by S Shankar, a cinematic spectacle touted to be a Rs 240 crore extravaganza. He will be seen in a triple role in the film, produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations.
