Actor Suriya Sivakumar has sustained a minor head injury while filming his upcoming movie, "Suriya 44," causing a temporary halt to production.
Producer Rajsekhar Pandian reassured fans on X, stating, "Dear #AnbaanaFans, It was a minor injury. Please don't worry, Suriya Anna is perfectly fine with all your love and prayers."
Suriya received immediate medical attention at a hospital in Ooty, where he was advised to rest for a few days. The film's shoot has been temporarily suspended to allow for his recovery.
The second schedule of "Suriya 44," directed by Karthik Subbaraj, commenced in Ooty earlier this month. The incident occurred while production was progressing smoothly.
Suriya recently unveiled the first-look poster of "Suriya 44," showcasing a car crash and an arrow piercing a tree, with the tagline "Love Laughter War." He expressed his excitement for the project, stating, "New beginnings. Need all your good wishes."
Meanwhile, fans eagerly await the release of Suriya's pan-India film, "Kanguva." This ambitious fantasy action film, directed by Siruthai Siva, features a star-studded cast, including Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, and many more. The film, boasting a massive budget of over Rs 300 crore, promises to be a visual spectacle.
