In a candid interview with Bombay Times, Sanjay Dutt has addressed the controversy surrounding his UK visa rejection and his involvement in "Son of Sardaar 2." The actor expressed his disappointment with the UK government's decision, emphasizing that he was granted a visa initially, only to have it revoked a month later.

"They gave me the Visa (initially). Everything was ready in the United Kingdom. Then a month later you are cancelling my Visa! I gave them all the papers and everything. Why did you give me the Visa (in the first place)? You shouldn’t have given me the visa. How come it took you one month to realize the laws?" Dutt stated, highlighting his frustration with the perceived inconsistency in the UK government's actions.

Further fueling speculation, reports have emerged suggesting that Dutt may have been replaced by Ravi Kishan in the film and will now have only a cameo role. However, the actor declined to comment on these reports, stating he is unaware of any such changes. He maintained that he is not missing out on the project and reiterated his commitment to upholding the law.

"I am not missing out on anything. But yes, they have done wrong. They need to rectify this. I am a law-abiding citizen. I go according to the law and I respect every country’s law," he added.

Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn has already commenced filming for "Son of Sardaar 2," sharing a behind-the-scenes montage on Instagram. The film, directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, will involve extensive shooting in the UK, followed by India. While Devgn will reprise his role from the first installment, reports suggest that Ravi Kishan will be stepping in for Dutt, with Mrunal Thakur playing the female lead.

Presented by Jio Studios and Devgn Films, "Son of Sardaar 2" is a joint production by Devgn Films and SOS 2 Limited. Produced by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande, the film is backed by N R Pachisia and Pravin Talreja, with Kumar Mangat Pathak serving as co-producer.

Despite the ongoing controversy surrounding Dutt's involvement and the UK visa issue, "Son of Sardaar 2" promises an exciting cinematic experience with its star-studded cast and expansive shooting locations.
