Superstar Prabhas is set to captivate audiences with his upcoming film, "Fauji," a patriotic drama that will see him portraying a soldier during the pre-independence era. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, the film is set for a grand launch on August 22nd in Hyderabad.
"Fauji" promises a powerful blend of action and emotion, with a heart-touching love story woven into the narrative. Prabhas will also surprise audiences with his portrayal of a Brahmin youngster.
Adding to the film's intrigue, "Fauji" is set during the reign of Subhash Chandra Bose, the founder of the Azad Hind Fauz. Prabhas will be seen working within this organization in the film, showcasing a pivotal moment in Indian history.
Mrunal Thakur and Rashmika Mandanna are currently the frontrunners for the female lead roles in "Fauji." Vishal Chandrasekhar will compose the music for this period drama, while Mythri Movie Makers will be producing the film.
"Fauji" is slated for release towards the end of 2025. Prabhas will soon resume work on "Raja Saab," directed by Maruthi, after completing his transformation for his role in "Fauji."
