Double iSmart Digital Rights Sold For A Fancy Price

Double Ismart has slowly picking up the momentum as the release date. The film has done record deals, although the makers are yet to release the theatrical trailer. The movie starring Ustaad Ram Pothineni with Dynamic director Puri Jagannadh helming has done profitable business through theatrical and non-theatrical business.

It is known that K Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy of PrimeShow Entertainment acquired theatrical rights of the movie for Rs 60 Cr. Latestly, the digital rights of the movie for all south Indian languages- Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, were sold for a fancy price of Rs 33 Cr to Amazon Prime Video. 

This is the biggest ever deal for Ram. In fact, the theatrical business was also highest for the star. The audio rights of the movie were sold for 9 Cr. The remaining deals- Hindi satellite and digital, and Telugu satellite rights, will be closed soon, as the discussions are underway.

The movie which is in the last phase of post-production generated a lot of enthusiasm with songs and teaser. While Sanjay Dutt played the antagonist, Kavya Thapar will be seen as Ram’s ladylove in the movie produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur on Puri Connects Banner.

The movie has music by Mani Sharma, while Sam K Naidu and Gianni Gianneli cranked the camera. Double Ismart will arrive in cinemas worldwide on Independence Day on August 15th in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.
