Indian 2 Will Premier On OTT From Independence Day

Bharateeyudu 2 / Indian2 , starring Kamal Haasan released recently  with huge buzz. But the film ended up disaster garnering negative reviews on the opening day itself. The film received unanimous talk and didn’t recover after the opening day. The team and makers hoped that the film would perform extraordinarily but it failed meet the expectations properly. Now, with no choice left,  Indian 2 is is making an early OTT streaming.

Indian 2 digital rights were bought by leading OTT giant, Netflix for a highest price ever in Kollywood. The film was agreed to arrive after 6 – 8 weeks of its release on the OTT, initially. But with the film getting failed at the box office, and it's poor performance, the OTT release will be a bit earlier than the fixed schedule. 

Now, according to the reports, Indian 2 may stream from August 2nd week most probably on Independence Day.  The makers are hoping to have a better response from the audience atleast from the OTT release. Already 12 minutes has been trimmed for the film but audience have already gave their verdict. 

Indian 3’s fate now hangs in balance as the film needs to have a big hype before its release. But with  Indian 2’s disastrous result, no one knows what would happen with Indian 3 and it's release plan. Shankar said that Indian 3 would be releasing six months after Indian 2’s release before Bharateeyudu 2 release. But he will move on to Game Changer starring Ram Charan first to wrap it and then concentrate on Indian 3.
