Case filed on Kalki 2898 AD. Amidst the global success of "Kalki 2898 AD," grossing nearly ₹1000 crores and garnering praise for director Nag Ashwin vision and Prabhas performance, a significant controversy has emerged.

Acharya Pramod Krishnam, the Kalki Peethadheeshwar of Shri Kalki Dham, has issued a legal notice to the filmmakers, claiming that the film distorts the representation of Lord Kalki and hurts the sentiments of Hindus.

The notice alleges that the movie's portrayal of Lord Kalki deviates from sacred Hindu texts, accusing the filmmakers of misrepresenting the deity's character and story.

Krishnam asserts that the inaccurate depiction insults the religious beliefs of millions of Hindus and Kalki followers. He demands that the filmmakers address these concerns within 15 days, warning of potential civil and criminal action if their demands are not met.

This legal notice throws a shadow over the film's triumphant run and presents a significant challenge for the makers as they navigate this religious controversy. It remains to be seen how "Kalki 2898 AD" producers will respond to this legal challenge and what steps they will take to address the concerns raised by the preacher.
