Abhishek Bachchan As Antagonist For Shah Rukh Khan King

After a successful year with blockbusters like Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki during 2023, Bollywood King Khan Shah Rukh Khan will soon start working on his next movie titled 'King'. The film is directed by Sujoy Ghosh and features his daughter Suhana Khan which has been one of the most awaited collaborations. This film marks Suhana's big screen debut. 

As per strong reports, Abhishek Bachchan will be seen as the film’s villain. This will mark the third collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan – they had earlier teamed up for Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and Happy New Year. Although this information has been doing rounds on social media platforms, official confirmation from either the actors or filmmakers is yet to be made.

The action part in the film with be supervised by Pathaan director, Siddharth Anand. It was reported that the makers are looking for popular South actor to play as villain in the film. But, it seems they zeroed on Abhishek Bachchan. Legendary actor, father of Abhishek Bachchan, Amitabh Bachchan dropped a hint in his recent social media (X) post. 

Retweeting about the film, Big B expressed excitement and support, saying, "all the best Abhishek .. It is TIME !!!" The film King will begin its shooting by October or November this year. The film is expected to hit the theatres for Christmas,  2025. 

King is one of those Bollywood projects that has generated a lot of buzz in recent times owing to its heavyweight cast and that too after Shahrukh's dream run last year. This thrilling venture has had fans at the edge of their seat waiting for each new update.
