Sundeep Kishan Responds to Vivaha Bhojanambu Raids: Addressing Hygiene Concerns and Clarifying Misinformation

Actor Sundeep Kishan has addressed the recent raids conducted by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) at his restaurant, "Vivaha Bhojanambu." While acknowledging the FSSAI's concerns, Kishan has clarified that some of the images circulating online are not from his establishment. He reiterated the restaurant's commitment to hygiene and safety, stating, "We as Team #VivahaBhojanambu have built a Loyal clientele over 8 years with our Food & Sincerity, we would never take your love for granted."

The FSSAI inspection at the Secunderabad branch of Vivaha Bhojanambu did uncover several violations, however. Most notably, a 25kg bag of expired Chittimutyalu Rice was found, raising concerns about potential health risks and inadequate inventory management. Further issues included improper labeling of raw and semi-prepared foods, unlidded dustbins raising hygiene concerns, and the absence of medical fitness certificates for food handlers. While some hygiene measures were in place, such as hairnets and uniforms, the inspection also found issues with the water used in food preparation and service.

The FSSAI has issued a directive to Vivaha Bhojanambu management to immediately rectify these violations to ensure the safety and health of customers. The restaurant has acknowledged the FSSAI's findings and is taking steps to address the concerns.

This incident highlights the importance of maintaining strict adherence to food safety standards and regulations. It also emphasizes the need for restaurants to prioritize customer health and ensure transparent communication regarding any issues that may arise.
