M. M. Keeravani is now an Oscar Winning Music Director but long before that he is a renowned music director as Swaravaani Keeravani for Tollywood, Marakathamani for Kollywood, MM Kreem for Bollywood. This music director whose entire family is into films has struggled to get a break during his initial days. Later he went on becoming the most popular Music Director with numerous musical hits in love stories, commercial films, family dramas and devotional films. 

Keeravani worked as an assistant to popular music director Chakravarthy in late 80's. Then he got a couple of offers as an independent music director but went unnoticed. Films like Seetharamaiah Gaari Manavaralu, People's Encounter, Mondi Mogudu Penki Pellam earned him recognition among the audiences. But,  It is Ram Gopal Varma who gave a big break through to MM Keeravani and made him an established musician.

RGV knew Keeravani briefly during his assistant days gave him a big offer after he created sensation with his first directorial Shiva. RGV who became a talk of a nation with Shiva opted for a relative new music director MM Keeravani for his second film Kshana Kshanam.  

Keeravani utilised the opportunity and scored a Chartbuster Album for Kshana Kshanam. His music for the film has garnered him recognition in entire south Indian film industry. There is no turning back since then, Big films started to flowing toward Keeravani. He became a top music director in no time with chart buster albums for Chiranjeevi's Gharana Mogudu, Venkatesh's Sundarakanda, Nagarjuna's President Gari Pellam, Mohan Babu's Allari Mogudu, Chiranjeevi's Aapadbhadhavudu, Mr Pellam, Matrudevobhava and many more. 

His ability to score impressive music for melodies and pathos  alike made him a special and his combination with Director K Raghavendra Rao is a blockbuster combo. They both even made films superhit only with music irrespective of content. Devotional films in their combination are evergreen starting from Annamayya, Sri Ramadasu, Shirdi Sai and many more. 

Then comes Rajamouli, his cousin brother as a director. He has been working with Rajamouli from his first film Student No 1 with NTR to RRR starring NTR and Ram Charan. Keeravani and Rajamouli shares a special bond apart from being cousins, they perfectly knew each other and what the other wants. This resulted in winning Golden Globe and Oscar Awards for MM Keeravani for Naatu Naatu song in The Best Original Song category. 

Now Keeravani is busy composing music for Pawan Kalyan's Hari Hara Veera Mallu and Rajamouli and Mahesh's #SSMB29. His last was 'Love Me' where he delivered yet another impressive album.
