Shankar - Ranveer Singh Project Not Happening

Shankar-Ranveer Singh project not happening. Director Shankar is currently juggling multiple projects, with his immediate focus on the highly anticipated Indian 2, set for a July release. In addition, he is still shooting for Game Changer, starring Ram Charan, with no confirmed release date yet. Adding to the workload, Shankar also needs to complete post-production on Indian 3, which has wrapped filming.

Amidst this busy schedule, Shankar addressed the long-rumored film with Ranveer Singh, initially planned as a Hindi remake of Anniyan. He revealed that the remake idea has been shelved, with the producers opting for a bigger, original project.

Shankar elaborated, "Our producers asked me to do a bigger film than Anniyan, and we're currently discussing the possibilities. I'll make a decision after the release of Indian 2, Game Changer, and Indian 3."

While Shankar focuses on his South Indian projects, Ranveer Singh has completed filming for Singham Again and is preparing for Don 3, directed by Farhan Akhtar, starring Kiara Advani.
