Human Rights Commission Filed Case Against Film Produced By Fahadh Faasil

Popular Malayalam hero Fahadh Faasil is also known for producing films like Premalu and his recent blockbuster Aavesham. He is currently producing a film in the combination of Aavesham-fame Sajin Gopu and Anaswara Rajan in Sreejith Babu's direction. Aavesham's director Jithu Madhavan is scripting the yet-to-be-titled film, besides co-producing it with Fahadh Faasil and Arjun Sethu.

In the latest development, the Human Rights Commission (HRC) has raised concerns about the film's shoot that happened in the casualty ward of Angamaly Taluk Hospital on Thursday night, which caused significant difficulties for the patients. Commission member VK Beena Kumari has demanded an explanation from those responsible for granting permission for the shoot in the casualty ward of the government hospital.

The commission has directed the Ernakulam district medical officer and the superintendent of Angamaly Taluk Hospital to submit the report within seven days. Legal proceedings were initiated following the commission's suo moto case, triggered by a news report.

Reportedly, the filming happened even while doctors were treating patients. Around 50 people, including the actors, were in the casualty ward. Reportedly during the shoot, a person accompanying a critically ill person was unable to enter the casualty department due to limited space. Entry through the main gate was also not permitted, and the crew instructed patients and bystanders to remain silent throughout the two-day shoot.
