Varun Dhawan Baby John To Release On December 25

Varun Dhawan’s upcoming actioner Baby John has a new release date. The film, directed by Kalees, will release in theatres on December 25 this year. Apart from Varun, it would also star Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff, and Rajpal Yadav in pivotal roles. The film was earlier scheduled to release on May 31.

The film’s producer Murad Khetani shared a new poster of it on Instagram which bears the release date of the film. “Christmas this year just got merrier. Brace yourselves for Baby John releasing on December 25th,” he captioned the post.

Apart from Murad, Priya Atlee and Jyoti Deshpande are also co-producers of Baby John. Earlier a poster from the film showing Varun punching a man in the neck as blood spatters while being drenched in the rain were shared by the makers on the actor’s birthday on April 24.

Before that a first-look video of the film was unveiled, which showed Varun in an action avatar. Along with that, a poster was also released where Varun dons an intense look as he stands holding a sharp weapon in his hand. He wears a ponytail on his head, and it was superimposed with a mythological figure in the background. 'Baby John' is an official remake of Tamil's blockbuster, 'Theri' starring Vijay Directed by Atlee who is producing Baby John.
