Lokesh Kanagaraj Provides Sneak Peek About Rajinikanth Coolie

Actor Rajinikanth's upcoming action-thriller Coolie is planned to go on floors next month. The film's announcement was made through a video weeks ago. The announcement video where Rajini is stylishly presented as a gold smuggler has received postive buzz and promises another blockbuster from the much awaited duo. 

Coolie's helmer Lokesh Kanagaraj posted a look-test picture of Rajinikanth, where he took a selfie with the actor. He added in the post that the film will go on floors in July. Rajinikanth will be joined by Sathyaraj after 38 years since Mr Bharath. Details of the rest of the cast and plot are kept under wraps.

Lokesh has posted the pic by announcing that the filming will kickstart from July to checkmate the rumours that 'Coolie' might get shelved and Rajinikanth will move his dates to another Multistarrers with Salman Khan which is to be produced by the same production house Sun Pictures. This film to be helmed by Atlee as per reports. So, with Lokesh's post, it is assured that Coolie is very much on.

Written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Coolie has music by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Girish Gangadharan, editing by Philomin Raj, stunts by Anbariv, and production design by Sathees Kumar. The dialogues for the film are written by Lokesh along with Chandhru Anbazhagan, who has also written the additional screenplay for the film. Produced by Kalanithi Maran under his Sun Pictures banner, Coolie is scheduled to release in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada.
