Ajith Kumar Amused By Dubai Race. Actor Ajith Kumar, known for his action-packed roles in Tamil cinema, recently took a break from his upcoming film shoot to indulge in his passion for racing.  While en route to Azerbaijan, he made a pit stop in Dubai and visited the prestigious FIA-licensed Dubai Autodrome.

Fans shared photos and videos on X (formerly Twitter) showcasing Ajith's thrilling experience behind the wheel. Although he didn't participate in any championships, he enjoyed a few carefree laps around the track with another racer.

Videos captured Ajith's infectious grin as he expertly maneuvered his race car, revving up the engine and pushing the limits on the track.  He was also seen testing out another car, showcasing his undeniable love for the sport.

This marked a return to racing for the star, who has a long-standing passion for the sport. In 2010, Ajith participated in the MRF Racing series, competing on circuits across India and even venturing abroad to Germany and Malaysia.  He also raced in the Formula 2 Championship alongside fellow racers Armaan Ebrahim and Parthiva Sureshwaren.

Speaking about his love for racing in a 2010 interview with Rediff, Ajith expressed gratitude for his wife Shalini's unwavering support:  “She said, after a long time, I saw you smile and you looked very happy. When I said I would like to race, she said, go ahead and do it. She was the one who asked me to follow my heart. I owe it to my wife. If not for her, I wouldn't be racing. I have the support of my parents too."
