Shaitaan Arriving To OTT From May 3

'Shaitaan' featuring R Madhavan, Jyotika  and Ajay Devgn, hit theaters on March 8, marking a significant success as the first Bollywood film of 2024 to achieve a 'clean hit' status. The thriller drama, helmed by Aamil Keeyan Khan, The film has done so well at the box office and it is still running successfully in the theatres grossed Rs 138 Crores so far and is likely to add another 10+ Crore globally taking its total to Rs 150 Crore. 

'Shaitaan' is a remake of the 2023 Gujarati horror film "Vash," with the original lead, Janki Bodiwala, reprising her role in "Shaitaan." R Madhavan plays the main antagonist in this gripping tale, revolving around a family ensnared by a man endowed with supernatural abilities. This thriller, which has a lot to do with hypnotism and mental stability impressed the audience for its nail biting screenplay and the story. The terrific performances of all the artists in the film added more depth to the narrative.

Shaitaan In Netflix From May 3

'Shaitaan' is now reportedly set to premiere on an OTT platform next month. As per the latest update, the film will start streaming on OTT platform from May 3, which is two months post the release. It is said that Netflix has bought the rights of this thriller, and an official confirmation on the streaming date is awaited.

The production of "Shaitaan" involved Vikas Bahl, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Ajay Devgn, and Jyoti Deshpande under Jio Studios, Panorama Studios, and Devgn Films. Sudhakar Reddy Yakkanti served as the cinematographer, while Sandeep Francis took charge of the editing.
