Family Star Latest Song Pays Tributes To All Stars In Families

Ahead of the film's release in a couple of days, the makers of Family Star released a new single titled ‘Dekho Re Dekho’ at the pre-release ceremony on Tuesday. Family Star features Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur as the lead pair. Parasuram Petla is the director while Dil Raju is the producer. 

Composed by Gopi Sundar, ‘Dekho Re Dekho’ is a peppy intro song for the protagonist (Vijay Deverakonda) that playfully takes a jibe at his weaknesses and also understands his strengths. The composition begins with a catchy rap portion (performed by Jack Styles) before playback singer Hemachandra takes over the vocals. Anantha Sriram has penned the lyrics for the song. 

The song enhances the value of those who runs families by hard earned money to run their families in order. The song has foot tapping tune with very good lyrics. It is worth noting that this is the third time Gopi Sundar has composed music for a Vijay Deverakonda film; the previous two being Geetha Govindham (2018) and World Famous Lover (2020). 

Parasuram Petla, who had previously directed Vijay in Geetha Govindham, has written and directed Family Star. Actors Vennela Kishore, Jagapathi Babu, and Rohini Hattangidi are part of the supporting cast.  KU Mohanan is the cinematographer, while the cuts were handled by Marthand K Venkatesh. AS Prakash is the art director. Family Star is set to have a worldwide theatrical release on April 5.
