Expressing his gratitude on Instagram, Manchu Vishnu wrote, “My heartfelt thanks to everyone who has showered blessings and love on the first-look poster from Kannappa. I must admit I was nervous before its release, but now, with all of your support, I am overwhelmed with love.”

Addressing the curiosity surrounding the film, Vishnu provided an intriguing update, stating, “I've been inundated with questions about Kannappa from all corners. It’s a story close to my heart, one that Lord Shiva has bestowed upon me to share with the world. Responding to each query individually has become a challenge.”

“To address this, I've come up with an innovative solution – we are releasing a comic book on Kannappa. Our first volume will be launched on March 19th, coinciding with my hero, my dad's birthday,” Vishnu revealed.

Drawing inspiration from his own childhood experiences, Vishnu emphasized the significance of such comic books in shaping one's understanding of narratives. He elaborated, “Having grown up reading Amar Chitra Katha, I understand the impact of such comics on one's life. The Kannappa comic book will serve as a valuable tool in comprehending the essence of the story. We are releasing one volume at a time, and it will be available for free. As I consider it my duty to narrate the tale of Kannappa, I am genuinely excited about this venture.”

In the upcoming Telugu fantasy drama film "Kannappa," Manchu Vishnu takes on the titular role, portraying the life of Kannappa, a devout follower of the Hindu deity Shiva, hailing from Sri Kalahasti.

Under the production of the esteemed actor Manchu Mohan Babu, Vishnu's father, through AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory, "Kannappa" promises to be a cinematic spectacle.
