Actor Thrigun, known for his versatile performances in Tamil and Telugu cinema, is set to make a grand entry into the Kannada film industry with his upcoming movie, “Lineman.” Directed by V Raghu Shastry, this bilingual venture will not only cater to the Kannada audience but also make its mark in the Telugu film industry. The film's narrative is intriguingly set in the rustic locales of Mandya, promising a story deeply rooted in the region’s ethos.

The makers recently unveiled the film's trailer, giving a glimpse into Thrigun's character, Nattu, also known as Nataraj, an Executive Engineer in Sathipalli district, Telangana, who takes pride in being compared to Pawan Kalyan. Thrigun's portrayal as a Lineman is portrayed with authenticity, showcasing the natural progression of village development, culminating in a surprising twist.

“Lineman” also stars Kaajal Kunder, B Jayashree, Niviksha Naidu, Harini Srikanth, Sujay Shastry, Apporva Shree, and others in pivotal roles. The film is backed by the prestigious banner Purple Rock Entertainers, co-produced by Prachura P, Kadri Manikanth, Jyothi Raghu Shastry, and Bhala Studios. The cinematography is handled by Shanthi Sagar H.G, while editing is done by Raghunatha L. The music is composed by Kadri Manikanth.
